The Orixcom Google Cloud Interconnect solution is the shortest path to your Google resources. While in transit, your network traffic remains on the Google Cloud network and never touches the public internet. This reduces the chance of hitting bottlenecks or unexpected increases in latency. Orixcom Google Interconnect service offers two options for connectivity.
You can choose a hosted connection provided by Orixcom, or choose a dedicated connection between Google and Orixcom, and deploy at over 100 Google Interconnect locations around the globe. With Google Interconnect SiteLink, you can send data between Google Cloud locations to create private network connections between the offices and data centres in your global network.

Is traffic over Google Cloud Interconnect encrypted?
Google Cloud Interconnect does not encrypt all traffic by default. Orixcom supports MACsec for physical link encryption and IPsec for network-layer encryption, helping businesses meet their security requirements. The appropriate option depends on the connection setup and encryption needs.
